Sustainable Living Hong Kong

Join the 10th Hong Kong ArtWalk to help the Society for Community Organization (SoCO), an NGO which has done a lot of social research and community work, particularly in the Sham Shui Po area.

ArtWalk is Hong Kong’s biggest charity art event and a chance for art lovers to experience the visual arts at galleries on Hong Kong Island, from SOHO, Central and Sheung Wan to Wanchai, Causeway Bay and Aberdeen – all in one evening.

Date: 17 March 2010

Time: 5:00 pm – 12:00 midnight

Place: any participating galleries

Tickets: HK$430 each for adults and HK$100 each for students

There are 62 galleries participating this year. Buy a ticket from one of the ticket-selling galleries and receive an ArtWalk brochure, map and entry badge to start at any of the galleries at any time. Free wine, beer and water will be served courtesy of sponsoring restaurants.

In addition to gallery displays ArtWalk Extra will also feature constructions, objects, small-scale installations, videos and performances on the street along the way. For more details, check out ArtWalk’s website.
